We are currently looking for an Estate Manager for a Grade I Stately Home in Oxfordshire. The site comprises 70 acres, the main house plus several other buildings, with direct access to the Thames. You will manage a team of 2 gardeners and there is a full-time security team on site. The interior of the home is run by a fantastic housekeeping team.
You will handle various aspects of estate and facilities management, including machinery, utilities, fire and staff management, and compliance. This is a lovely role for the right person; it is important you are a team player with a humble, easy-going personality.
This role will include some admin work, i.e., paying contractors and working with architects and builders. This can be a 3 or 4 day a week role; for the right person, the client is open to what days you would like to work. Salary is dependent on experience and whether self-employed or employed.
