Short Term Live-in Housekeeper job β Suffolk
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming household with a beautiful property not far from the sea-side.
You will be working as part of a small, friendly team, sharing shifts with another Housekeeper. The role requires flexibility, a positive attitude, and a love for both family life and animals.
The household consists of 2 adults and 3 children who visit occasionally. There are also 2 large dogs and 3 cats, so it is essential you are confident with animals and happy to feed, walk, and care for them.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and capable Housekeeper with strong cooking skills who possesses a positive attitude and reliability. They should be a great team player with a happy disposition, flexible and adaptable to the needs of the household. Additionally, experience working around animals is essential.
Duties will include:
- Housekeeping β cleaning, laundry, and ironing to a high standard
- Dog walking and caring for cats
- Cooking β shared with the other Housekeeper; must enjoy preparing good, home-cooked meals
- Occasional support with entertaining when the whole family is home
- Ad hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the household
You will be working 8 hours per day on a split-shift basis, with early shifts starting at 6:45am and later shifts starting at 9am. Weekend work is required every other weekend, shared with the other Housekeeper.
Accommodation: Very nice, separate self-contained accommodation with a full kitchen and 1 bedroom. Possibility for a pet.
Hours: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (split shifts), every second weekend required. Rota shared with another Housekeeper / Cook
