Full-time Live-in Housekeeper job in Suffolk
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a welcoming household in Suffolk. The family consists of two adults and four boys (who are away during term time). The household also includes one dog and two cats.
You will be working as the Housekeeper in a large 9-bedroom home, taking responsibility for all day-to-day household management. The role requires someone highly organised, experienced, and confident in running a busy family home.
An elderly relative also lives on the estate, and part of your duties will include checking in daily, preparing a light meal, and light housekeeping for them.
Duties to include:
- Housekeeping – cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and maintaining outdoor furniture and terrace
- Grocery shopping and household provisioning
- Pet care when the family are away
- Daily check-ins with elderly relative, preparing light meals, and providing light housekeeping
- Liaising with other household/estate staff as required
The ideal candidate must be reliable, highly organised, and animal-friendly. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential. Previous private household experience is preferred.

House: 9-bedroom main residence
