Live in Housekeeper/ Dog Nanny Job, Sussex
We have a wonderful position for an organised, professional, and experienced Housekeeper Cook to join a semi-formal household in Sussex. This is the weekend residence for a mature couple, with their two little dogs. The couple do have grown up children and a number of grandchildren who visit on occasion.
The candidate must love dogs. One dog is elderly and needs extra care.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Daily housekeeping
- Care of marbles, wooden floors and tiles
- Laundry, linen and ironing
- Deep cleaning and seasonal changes
- Wardrobe management, care of fine fabrics and delicate clothing
- Taking clothes to the dry cleaning
- Daily organising of the home
- Kitchen support to the lady of the house
- Clearing up after evening meal
- Occasional informal cooking
- Provisioning for the household
- Run errands
- Tending to pet’s needs as and when needed
- Pet sit and house sit when the couple travel
Start date: When the right person is found
Working week: 5 days per week, days will change depending on the needs of the clients
Working hours: Live in 7.30am to 12.30pm, 5pm to 8pm
Accommodation: Double bedroom in the main house, separate flat to be built next year
Salary: £40 – £47k depending on Live in
