Live in Gardener Job in Somerset
A fantastic role for a lovely returning client of Greycoat Lumleys, who is looking for a Live-in Gardener to look after their residence in a beautiful rural location in Somerset, close to Exmoor National Park.
The family also employs a Live in Couple and two Part-time Gardeners once a week.
They are a very informal family, with high standards, who have employed staff for a number of years, so you must be happy to work as a team.
The property is a large 5-bedroom house with a 2 bedroom guest cottage that sits in 70 acres of land, including formal gardens (1.5 acres), lawns (5 acres), kitchen garden, a pond, a small lake and woodland (15 acres) and a few fields. They are looking for a Gardener to work alongside and under the direction of the other full time Property Manager/gardener (part of the other couple) and assist with all general garden maintenance duties to include but not limited to:
Lawn care, strimming, hedge cutting, maintaining a small vegetable garden, weeding, pruning, planting,chopping wood, cleaning gutters, maintaining the driveway and patio areas as well as cleaning the house, cars and other ad hoc duties. Happy with theuse of chainsaws, tree work, use of tractor, pond work, pool maintenance, wood chip burner
