We have a wonderful opportunity for someone who likes a varied role and has a love for dogs to work for an informal and friendly family.
You will be supported by two other housekeepers to keep this beautiful estate looking its best.
The family are looking for a switched on housekeeper training can also be given for someone who has less experience in private households.
Duties include:

Hands-on Housekeeping, Laundry and ironing and wardrobe management, including unpacking suitcases.

Helping to prepare simple meals on occasion this is a bonus and not a necessity if someone does not wish to cook

Care for the dogs when they are in residence and pet sitting when the principals are not in residence (shared with the other staff).

Unpacking deliveries and keeping on top of food and product stock.

Running errands

Organising the home

Meeting and greeting guests

Providing refreshments for owners and guests when needed.
The ideal person for the role is someone who has a positive and muck-in attitude. You will need to be flexible as overtime will be required when guests are in residence and you will get this time back in Lieu.
Days: 5 days over most weekends with two consecutive days off in the week.
When the principals are not in residence, it will be Monday – Friday and weekends off.
Hours: 40 hours, any overtime worked will be given back in Lieu. The client will also consider a part time, Live in Weekend Housekeeper
Accommodation – Large Self-contained flat within the main house.
Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on cooking ability
Start: As soon as the right person is found
