A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a new couple to replace her outgoing couple who has been with her for 8 years and the couple prior to that for 8.5 years.
This is a lovely role for a couple who are looking for a job which will be working at a slower pace as you are looking after a large home but only a single employer who has visiting family. This is a traditional home and you will be working with a Gardener who works 3 days per week.
The house has 7 bedrooms and is traditional in style but only the master bedroom suite is used on a daily basis. The lady of the house is very active and likes to be involved so you will be very much working with her to ensure that the house always runs smoothly.
She is also a keen cook so you will be working with her in the kitchen when she entertains.
Duties include:
- Hands on cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Preparation of rooms for visiting family
- Cooking - helping when there are guests for lunch and visiting family (Aga and Gas cooker)
- Preparing the dining room for guests and table service
- Assisting with Shopping for the household
- Help with the dog, walking and letting them out on weekends if the principle is away
- Looking after the security of the property
- General handyman duties around the property both inside and out
- General maintenance gardening - working with the part-time gardener. Mowing the lawns, maintenance of the swimming pool and tennis court, keeping the garden generally neat and tidy
- Driving duties and keeping the cars clean
This is normally and Monday to Friday role working from 8am to 5pm with some flexibility needed on occasional weekends
2 bed bungalow accommodation provided, all bills paid by the employer except the phone - partly furnished
£60,000 to £65,000 GPA
