Job Description
Live-in Houseman/Butler Job in Buckinghamshire
Salary: £40,000 + depending on experience
Accommodation: Self-contained accommodation above the stables with a kitchen and lounge
Working Week: 7 days on, 2 days off then 3 days on, 4 days off // 9 AM – 5 PM with up to two late shifts per week (As split shifts)
A lovely returning client of Greycoat is in search of a live-in or live-out houseman for their charming country home located in Buckinghamshire, close to Aylesbury. The family has a dedicated team of staff members who have been with them for many years, showcasing their commitment to longevity and stability.
The household typically consists of a couple, with their adult children visiting frequently on weekends. They also have two dogs, so it’s essential for the new candidate to be dog-friendly, as the role includes occasional overnight pet sitting. Additionally, the family owns properties in Switzerland and London, there is a opportunity to travel if you wanted to.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Care of marble, wooden floors, and tiles
- Daily Butler duties
- Daily organisation of the home
- Assisting with dinner parties
- Pet and house-sitting during the couple's travels
- Traveling between properties when required
- Working weekends up to 2 times a month
- Working up to two late nights per week
