House Manager or Couple Job β Nr Clitheroe Lancashire
Our client is looking for help to look after two properties in Lancashire and will consider either a House Manager or Couple for the role. They are busy people who split their time between their properties in Bury and the Ribble Valley. This role will be to free up their own time running the properties, as well as house and dog sitting while they are away. Driving will also be an important part of the role.
While the first choice would be to have a candidate who is based locally in the Clitheroe area, they could provide separate accommodation for the right candidates. Candidates will need to stay on site while house and dog sitting.
This role will involve overseeing both properties. Candidates need to be flexible as although you may only be working flexible part-time hours, you will be required to be available, given plenty of notice on evenings and weekend, especially for driving and the dog / house sitting, but you will be paid a full-time salary.
The clients employ other household staff but would consider employing a couple for the right fit.
Main duties will include:
- House and dog sitting β some shorter spells but mainly covering around 6 weeks per year. If you are local / live out, you will be required to live onsite during this time. You must be confident around large but very friendly dogs. Dog walking.
- Property maintenance β identifying anything that needs doing at both properties and arranging the necessary contractors who are already in place.
- Driving and looking after household vehicles β local driving on some evenings and weekends as well as airport runs.
- Running errands and generally helping out around the house to keep things running smoothly.
Live out role although separate accommodation could be provided if required.
