A busy family with 3 young children near Horsham are looking for a highly organised, proactive and experienced Housekeeper / Mother’s Help to join their household.
Key duties will include cleaning and maintaining the family home and ensuring family life runs smoothly by supporting after-school routines through to bedtime. Two of the children have demanding schedules at Prep school and the third attends nursery most days so the ideal candidate must be flexible and well versed in juggling the demands of multiple children at different development stages while maintaining solid routines both in a shared and sole care environment.
Duties to include:
- Hands on cleaning, tidying and organisation
- Laundry and ironing
- Meal preparation and cooking for the family
- Running errands
- Dealing with trades and contractors
- Dog care
- Shared and sole care childcare duties to include school pick ups, homework oversight, bed time routine
- Occasional babysitting or additional hours to be agreed in advance; travel possible but not a deal breaker
Driver essential, car provided for work duties.
Required: Enhanced DBS check and excellent references from similar roles required.
Salary: Up to £20,000 gross per year depending on experience.
Hours: Tues 9am-6pm and Thurs 9am - 6pm with occasional flexibility required.
Start date: As soon as possible.
