Live Out Head Gardener in South Buckinghamshire
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Senior/Head Gardener to maintain and improve the outdoor spaces of their private residence. The candidate will work as a sole gardener and should be able to work well under minimal supervision. The job involves 75% gardening tasks and 25% handyman duties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the vegetable garden, designated flower beds, and lawns to their highest standards. Attention to detail, quality workmanship, and passion for outdoor work are essential for the position.
Duties
- Mowing, hedging, trimming of lawns and garden beds
- Planting, pruning, and maintaining shrubs and trees
- Responsible for the maintenance of garden furniture
- Maintaining garden machinery
- Regularly checking, maintaining, and cleaning the swimming pool.
- Understanding and implementing pest and disease control mechanisms
- Performing minor repairs or maintenance tasks around the house or garden when needed
- Pet friendly as they have a dog
Days and Hours: 4 or 5 day week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm
Salary: £40,000+ GPA
