Part time Estate Manager job in Hampshire. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Estate Manager to work part time, 3 x week has come available. This is an estate with over 500 acres, overseeing a small team that comprises of a Head Gardener and 2/3 other estate workers. This is the family's main residence and there is the main house and other secondary homes on this land.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing projects like large and small renovation projects
- Working closely with the family on the security implementation across the estate
- Being the point of contact for calls from the front gate & security team
- Readings of electric meters on all properties and logging these
- Other administrative duties pertaining to the estate
- Hands-on approach where needed
- Liaising with contractors
- Managing payroll & holiday tracking
- Maintaining meticulous administrative files, including warranties, maintenance logs, legal documents, inventories, and estate manuals
- Managing keys for all properties on the estate and creating an inventory & safe storage plan
- Assisting the estate team in the running of shoot days
- Vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of building systems, groundskeeping, and agricultural practices
- A valid driver's license
Start: As and when the right person is found. Working week: 3 x week, full days and flexible as to which days they are in the week. Driving: essential. Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 GPA.
