Groundsman Job, between Glasgow & Edinburgh, Scotland
Greycoat Lumley\'s client are seeking a trustworthy Groundsman for their beautiful estate close to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The location of this property is very appealing as it is half an hour from Glasgow and one hour to Edinburgh.
The maintained grounds are over 5 acres and made up of lawn, pathways and a walled garden which is currently lawned.
Duties Include:
Security, house sitting and care of 3 dogs (2 labs and a cocker spaniel) when owners are away
Some light household duties (eg bringing in logs, taking away rubbish, some vacuuming, occasional driving)
Organising and supervising contractors
Grounds maintenance (in conjunction with owners) such as mowing (ride on), strimming, hedge cutting, weed control on gravel, log splitting, maintaining access etc.There is plenty of machinery at the estate to assist with the grounds care duties.
Accommodation provided with all bills paid other than central heating oil (2-3 bedroom flat)
Flexibility to consider this role as a job share between a live in couple

Hours/Days: 30 hours per week/Monday to Friday
Salary:£25,000 GPA
Accommodation provided: Apartment on the 1st floor overlooking the gardens, separate entrance to the main house, living room dining room, 2 bedrooms master with ensuite.
