COOK HOUSEKEEPER JOB
Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking an experienced Cook/Housekeeper for their large home in the Scottish Borders near Melrose. The welcoming family are looking for someone who will primarily be responsible for the day to day cooking for the family. A wonderful opportunity to live and work in a beautiful part of Scotland. Applicants must be able to recognise what needs to be done in a timely fashion to ensure the smooth running of the household. There are a full time and part time Housekeeper at the property so working as part of a team is essential.
The family are flexible on the skill set of the Cook Housekeeper so we would encourage applicants to get in touch.
Duties Include:
- Cooking daily for the family (breakfast, lunch and dinner), dinner parties and weekend guests
- Errands, shopping
- Housekeeping
- Caring for fine art
- Laundry, Ironing
- Security of the property
The key part of this role is the cooking, the housekeeping element is shared with the Housekeepers and covering their days off.
Accommodation: 2 bedroom annex with own entrance and privacy. Council Tax and Heating are included in the package
Pets are welcome within reason
Start: ASAP
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 GPA
