Greycoat Lumley’s client is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper for a privately run estate in Fife. The estate has had very long serving staff and is open to guests on an exclusive basis, managed by a couple on a daily basis.
Experience: Working as a Housekeeper in a luxury establishment/private household/chalet is essential.
Duties:
- Upkeep of all bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas - billiards, drawing room, library, dining room, ballroom, kitchens
- Care of antiques
- Silver polishing
- Kitchen cleaning duties (tidying dishes away, wiping surfaces, rubbish removal, recycling, upkeep of AGA etc)
- Dusting, hoovering and mopping
- Organisation of laundry rooms
- Guest changeovers
- Ironing bedding, table cloths and linen napkins
- Daily room checks - general tidying in communal areas, changing of towels in bathrooms and making beds while guests are not in their rooms
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 20 per week (there is scope for overtime/full-time hours if desired)
Accommodation: Live-Out only
Salary: £14 per hour
