A valued client of Greycoat Lumleys, based in Andover, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised live‑in housekeeper/cook for their beautiful five‑bedroom family home. This is a long‑term role suited to a switched‑on individual who takes pride in maintaining a high standard within a private household.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the home from a housekeeping and culinary perspective. While you will be working alongside an estate manager and a gardener, you will be the sole housekeeper and must be confident managing your duties independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing hands‑on, high‑standard housekeeping throughout the property
- Ensuring the home is kept consistently clean, tidy, and well‑presented
- Managing all laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and wardrobe care (excellent ironing skills are essential)
- Preparing daily meals for the household, with the ability to cater for occasional small dinner parties, mainly at weekends
- Planning menus and organising grocery shopping, placing orders, and managing deliveries
- Maintaining household supplies and liaising with other staff as required
- Driving for household‑related duties when needed
- Proven experience working within private households
- Extremely high attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Well‑organised, efficient, and able to use initiative
- Confident cook with experience preparing fresh, home‑style meals
- A driver is essential

Bedroom and Bathroom in the main house until June when there will be a separate self‑contained accommodation (house) provided on the estate. All bills are covered.
