Afternoon Nanny Needed – Notting Hill Gate

A warm, fun, and creative family of four based in Notting Hill is looking for a kind, bubbly, and flexible afternoon nanny to join their household. The family has two happy and curious children aged 9 and 12 and is seeking someone who will support their development while becoming a valued part of the family team.

Key Responsibilities

After-school care

Taking children to activities

Ensuring homework is completed

Carrying out child-related household duties

Preparing meals for the children and for the parents

Babysitting 2–3 times per week

Food shopping

Schedule

Monday to Friday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm

A later start (e.g., 4:00pm) may be possible, so flexibility is important

Candidate Profile

The ideal nanny will be:

Warm, trustworthy, and engaging

Organized, proactive, and confident taking initiative

A strong communicator who works well in partnership with parents

A driver with a full, clean UK driving license (car provided, but not essential for the right candidate)

What the Family Offers

A guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week

Opportunity to increase hours to 25–30 per week for a nanny happy to do regular babysitting

£20–£25 per hour (gross), depending on experience and suitability

A flexible start date for the right candidate

A supportive, well-organized household and a genuinely lovely family environment
