Healthcare Integration – NHS – rhapsody, Mirth, Intersystems – HL7 – FHIR Job Title: Healthcare Integration Consultant (rhapsody, Mirth, InterSystems) Location : Remote Employment Type : Full-Time Job Overview A very known SME client in the healthcare integration world is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Integration Consultant to join there team. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare systems, technology, and processes, combined with expertise in integrating diverse software applications and IT infrastructures. As a Healthcare Integration Consultant, you will work closely with clients to assess, design, implement, and optimize integrated solutions that streamline clinical, operational, and administrative processes across healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in healthcare IT, a strong understanding of integration methodologies (such as HL7, FHIR, and APIs), Integration Engines (Mirth or Interstsyems or rhapsody) and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive digital transformation in healthcare environments. Key Responsibilities Consulting & Advisory: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on integration solutions tailored to the specific needs of healthcare providers, payers, and other healthcare entities. System Integration Design & Implementation: Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of healthcare system integrations across EHR/EMR, HIS, LIS, PACS, RCM, and other healthcare platforms. Utilize industry standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM for data exchange and interoperability. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with healthcare clients to identify business needs, workflows, and technical requirements. Translate client needs into actionable integration strategies that align with healthcare standards and best practices. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring all parties understand the integration process, timelines, and expected outcomes. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance integration services and solutions.
