We’re partnering with a UK manufacturing business operating across Upper and Lower Tier COMAH sites to recruit an HSE Manager with the confidence and credibility to lead safety across two locations. This is a hands-on, visible role for someone who enjoys working closely with operations, influencing culture, and driving practical, effective HSE standards.
What you’ll do:
- Lead Health, Safety & Environmental activity across two manufacturing sites
- Own ISO 9001 / 45001 / 14001 compliance
- Manage incident reporting and investigations
- Engage with regulators and auditors (HSE, EA, BSI)
- Deliver training, toolbox talks and site engagement
- Report on HSE performance and improvements
- Support occupational health and emergency response
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- TechIOSH (or working towards Chartered)
- COMAH or chemical manufacturing experience (ideal)
- Confident, practical safety leader with strong people skills
- Full UK driving licence
