We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Wedding Host to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for couples and their guests.
With over 260 years of history and heritage, joining couples since 1754, we are a world-class, award-winning wedding destination, with a 5-star visitor attraction, retail and 2 hotels. We remain a unique family owned and run business.
About the Role
Are you passionate about creating magical moments and unforgettable memories? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Wedding Host to be part of our dynamic Wedding Experience Team. In this role, you’ll be the heart and soul of our couples’ big day, delivering exceptional service and ensuring every detail is perfect.
Bring your expertise in hospitality, weddings, and events to life as you guide and professionally manage the seamless delivery of weddings and celebrations. From the first toast to the last dance, you’ll play a key role in crafting a truly extraordinary experience, making every couple feel cherished and every guest feel special.

Main Responsibilities
- Assist wedding couples to ensure they are positively communicated with and have a memorable day.
- Ensure all final event details are correct and approved by the wedding couples.
- Be a point of contact for wedding couples during their stay.
- Be the point of contact and offer support to wedding guests with any additional requests.
- Ensuring the functions rooms are set up as requested by the couples.
- Attend daily briefings and communicate with internal hotel teams to ensure seamless premium service.
- Promptly responding to email and phone enquiries in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring high level of service.
- Assisting internal teams when required e.g. witnessing, show rounds.
- Ensure all admin it kept up to date and to a high standard.
- Assist and liaise with the Wedding Experience Manager and Venue Hosts.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- Qualification in customer care, business, or event management is desirable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, problem solve and react to changing priorities.
- Capability to manage own work schedule in accordance with daily requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of wedding ceremonies.
- Ability to work as part of a team and lone working when required.
- Ability to conduct self gracefully and professionally.
- Experience on IT skills Word/Excel would be beneficial
- Flexible in tasks (and working hours)
- Keen attention to detail
- Previous relevant hotel experience or customer facing role.
