Great hospitality is about creating experiences guests remember. At Gretna Green Hotels, our Food & Beverage teams play a huge part in that. From relaxed dining and busy bar services to weddings, celebrations and events, they help create memorable moments for every guest.

We’re looking for an F&B Team Leader to help lead service across our hotel operation. You’ll support the team, maintain high standards, and help ensure every shift runs smoothly. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll lead from the front during busy services and support the wider hotel operation on shift. One moment you could be supporting restaurant service. The next, helping manage a busy bar, wedding function or event turnover. You’ll play a key role in keeping service organised, welcoming and consistent, even during peak periods.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting the team during service
  • Delivering friendly, high‑quality guest experiences
  • Supporting restaurant, bar and event operations
  • Handling guest queries confidently and professionally
  • Working closely with the kitchen team to keep service flowing
  • Supporting stock control, deliveries and cash handling
  • Maintaining high standards across service and presentation

What we’re looking for

You may already be a Team Leader or perhaps a strong Supervisor ready to step up. Most importantly, you’ll:

  • Stay calm under pressure
  • Lead by example
  • Enjoy the pace of hospitality
  • Take pride in standards and guest experience
  • Feel confident taking responsibility on shift

Experience within hotels, weddings or busy F&B operations would be beneficial.

Why Work with Gretna Green?

  • Free on‑site parking
  • Day off for your birthday – Celebrate your day, your way
  • 25% staff discount on stays at our hotels
  • A leadership role within one of Scotland’s most iconic hospitality destinations
  • A varied and fast‑paced operation

Our values

  • Be Kind – Show respect, patience, and warmth to everyone
  • Deliver Magic – Maintain high standards, even under pressure
  • Be Curious – Ask questions, learn new things, get better every day
  • Be Adaptable – Smile when plans change
  • Think Like a Landowner – Take pride in and care for your environment

Ready to BE PART OF OUR TEAM? No two shifts here are ever quite the same. If you’re looking for a role where you can build confidence, develop your leadership skills and be part of a team delivering memorable guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
