Overview
Catering Supervisor (12-month Maternity Cover). We are looking for a forward-thinking Catering Supervisor to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an opportunity to bring fresh ideas to a thriving catering operation, ensuring outstanding food service delivery while inspiring a passionate team. As our Catering Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality food production, outstanding customer service, and strict compliance with food safety standards. You’ll be a hands-on leader, coaching your team, managing supplier relationships, and optimising stock control to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
Where You’ll Work
You’ll be at the heart of our catering operations across three sites, working a flexible schedule that includes weekends. Our supportive environment values kindness, curiosity, and magical service delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Team leadership – Motivate, train and develop catering teams across all sites
- Multi-site operations – Oversee daily service at The Tollbar, Runaways Café & The Food Court
- Customer experience – Champion outstanding service and innovative catering
- Compliance & safety – Uphold food safety and licensing regulations
- Commercial focus – Drive revenue growth and reduce waste
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ catering/hospitality experience with leadership skills
- Passion for food & service with a focus on quality
- Excellent communication skills for engaging teams and customers
- Strong problem-solving skills for fast-paced environments
- Comfort with systems like Procure Wizard and Civica
Experience & Qualifications
- Leadership experience in catering/hospitality essential
- Experience in allergen management and stock control

Position: Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) – Flexible across 7 days (Mon-Sun)
Salary: £13.42 – £13.61 per hour
