At Smiths Hotel, our Food & Beverage team plays a huge part in that, from relaxed breakfasts and evening dining to weddings, celebrations and large-scale events. We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join our Hotel Operations team. Working closely with our Senior Food & Beverage Manager, you will help lead service, support the wider operation, and deliver exceptional guest experiences every day. This is a hands‑on leadership role based primarily at Smiths Hotel. One moment you could be supporting breakfast service. The next, preparing for a wedding breakfast, managing a busy restaurant service or overseeing an event turnover. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every service runs smoothly and every guest experience reflects the standards we expect at Gretna Green.
Main Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting the Food & Beverage team during service
- Delivering high standards across restaurant, bar and events
- Supporting weddings, conferences and functions
- Managing rotas, labour and day-to-day operations
- Coaching and developing team members
- Working closely with kitchen and hotel operations teams
- Acting as part of the wider Duty Management team
What we’re looking for
You may already be an F&B Manager or perhaps a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up. Most importantly, you’ll:
