Child Specific Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic anddedicated Child Specific Learning Support Assistant to join our talented KS2SEND team. The successful candidate will work as part of our inclusionteam alongside class teachers and other professionals to support pupils'learning and development. We are looking for someone who:

Candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teachingand Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy isessential (GCSE Grade C /4 and above or equivalent). Previous experience of working with children,particularly those with additional needs, would be advantageous. Enthusiasm,commitment and the ability to form positive relationships are equallyimportant.

The rolewill be a temporary child specific role for 30 hours 50 minutes per week,Monday to Friday, exclusive of INSET days, from 08:30 to 15.10 with an unpaid30-minute lunch break. The position willbe paid on Band C point 8 - 14 currently £26,824 – £29,540 (pay award pending)pro rata dependant on qualifications and experience.
