Gressingham Foods are the UK's leading duck supplier, founded in 1971 with the Head Office in Debach. Gressingham are looking for a Wastewater treatment plant operator.
Main Tasks
- Ensure safety standards are met.
- Clean, maintain and inspect equipment to ensure that all systems are functioning properly.
- Test water samples to ensure they are compliant.
- Monitor operating conditions, meters and gauges – understand when something is wrong.
- Liaise regularly with line manager, and communicate with site staff and colleagues as appropriate, regarding successes and problems to ensure consistent flow of information.
Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to operate and control certain equipment (training will be provided).
- Work in a fast paced ever changing environment.
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Have the ability to work on your own.
- Analytical thinking skills – know when to ask for help.
- Have basic knowledge of computers / hand held device (tablet or mobile phone).
- Full drivers license required.

Manager: Environmental Manager
The hourly rate is: £12.75 per hour
Hours per week: 40hrs plus overtime when required. Can be 50 hours to accommodate with company transport 6am-4:30pm.
Working Times: Shift hours 6am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 11.00pm.
