Gressingham is a family-owned business. It has grown to become the largest Duck Producer in the UK. We have an opportunity for a Full time Muck Team Operative to join our business working across our farms in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Requirements Of Muck Team Operative
- Ensure the Mucking out of buildings after depletion, predominately with telehandler/Weidmann, but will also require manual sweeping and forking out of corners and smaller buildings.
- Ensure a high standard of Bio Security, washing and cleaning of machines in and out on a regular basis to high standard.
- Ensuring that any arable tasks, hedge cutting, material moving (dirty water, soil, crushed concrete, topping) is completed.
- Operating all machinery to a safe and high level of health and safety.
- Maintaining equipment to a full working condition and reporting any faults or damages to the manager.
- Follow current legislation and any road safety guidelines.
- Follow safe operating procedures for all machinery being used.
- Be able to work on your own initiative and as a team member and have good communication skills with all team members and team leader.
- Must be flexible at short notice.
- Long working hours at short notice.
- Willing to turn hand to any job that may be required outside of tractor driving and tele handling.
- Experience in tractor driving and tele handler preferred, but training will be given to the right candidate.
We have new and modern Agri tractors (brand new Claas Arion 660 tractors from August), modern JCB telehandlers – New from August as well & Weidmann’s and well looked after equipment. The potential to put through HGV licence for the right candidate in time.

Location: Debach, Suffolk but would consider other areas for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Hours of work: 39 hours per week, hours can vary depending on work loads and requirements general working hours between 6am and 4pm, Monday to Friday with some weekend work required.
Salary: £12.70 per hour starting rate, rising to £13.05 after successful completion of 3-month probation period.
