Overall aim of the Job: To clean and disinfect vehicles, trailers and hatchery equipment.
Key tasks within the job:
- Pressure washing interior of trailers including fans, removing the floor and roof covers and cleaning all filters.
- Emptying day old chick crates from lorries.
- Pressure washing exterior of trailer and unit.
- All cleaning to involve use of chemicals to ensure biosecurity is maintained.
- Up to 4 units and trailers to be emptied and cleaned per day.
- Moving units and trailers on and off the loading bays and around the yard.
Job Requirements:
- Shunter license (Training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Previous experience preferred but training can be given to suitable applicant.
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent – Nightshift
Working Times: Exact working hours still to be confirmed. Working hours will be approximately 6:00pm – 2:30am, 5 days a week.
Pay Rate: £13.40 per hour.
Own transport is essential due to the remote location, based approximately 5 miles from Ipswich.
