The HR Department at Gressingham is looking for an administrative support to join their busy HR team.
Starting Salary: £26,000 per annum
Reporting To: Head of HR
Employment Type: Full Time (8.30am to 17.00pm, Monday to Friday, including 30 unpaid lunch break. Additional hours required during annual Christmas campaign).
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Administrative Support professional to assist our Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting employees throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment, and looking to develop their career within HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Assist with recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
- Prepare onboarding materials and support new hire orientation
- Process HR documentation such as employment letters, contracts, and policy acknowledgments
- Track employee attendance, leave records, and related documentation
- Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries (telephone, email and face to face)
- Assist with payroll coordination as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Arrange meetings/appointments/interviews on behalf of the HR team
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
