We have a great opportunity for a Farms Administrator to join our busy Farms Office based in Debach near Woodbridge. The position will report to the Farms Administration Manager, working alongside the Farms Administration Team to ensure our company and contract farms receive the best possible service.

Key Tasks Within The Job

  • Central ordering for farms – including placing orders for feed, straw, etc, working with suppliers and checking confirmations.
  • Downloading and analyzing data from farm to ensure data is reported to manage flock records.
  • Complete purchase orders when placing orders, receipting purchase orders with correct pricing and dealing with invoices and queries sent over by accounts.
  • Provide all information to technical department & customers on traces.
  • Provide info on placement & kill dates.
  • Regularly check emails, WhatsApp & take phone calls so all communication is actioned in a timely manner.
  • Assist Farms Administration Manager when requested.

  • Good level of computer skills including Microsoft software – Specifically strong Excel skills.

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science at grade 4/C or above (or working towards).
  • A full UK driving licence or ability to get to the offices reliably.

Job Type: Permanent

Hours per week: 40 hours per week

Working Times: Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Pay Rate: Β£12.90 per hour
