Details: Pay £28,000 per annum rising to £30,000 per annum upon successful probation period Position - Permanent Job type - Full-time Shift schedule - 40 hours per week.

Monday to Friday, hours will vary as we operate different shift patterns to cover the needs of the factory.

Additional hours and some PM shift coverage may be required during our seasonal peak. (November/December).

Location - Gressingham Foods, Redgrave, Diss, IP22 1SA

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual wanting to join a thriving, forward thinking business in the food manufacturing sector.

Fast paced & varied, covering an array of production planning duties within the Supply Chain function of the business.

This position is ideal for individuals looking for a rewarding career in production planning.

Duties will include; creating short term production plans based on customer forecasts and longer-term production plans based on sales forecasts.

Liaising with other departments including material scheduling, warehousing and operations aligning production with demand.

Analysing production through put rates, efficiencies and suggesting areas for improvement, supporting the team of production planners with data analysis and reporting, raise and aid to resolve any production issues as they arise.

Communicate to customers and internal sales colleagues any issues with supply.

Place orders for any bought in meat. Update delivery schedules for bought in meat.

Full training will be given on each aspect of the duties assigned to you.
