Gresham’s are currently looking to recruit a kind and caring professional who will join the dedicated pastoral team, supporting pupils at the Prep School. At Gresham’s we offer a rare opportunity where children can join us at our Nursery and Pre-Prep School from the age of 2 and continue with their education at our Prep and Senior Schools to the age of 18. Founded in 1555 and located in the heart of North Norfolk, Gresham’s is a thriving co-educational school set across 300 acres of countryside, just minutes from award-winning beaches and areas of natural beauty.
The role of the Mental Health Practitioner will support the holistic assessment of pupils’ mental health and well-being needs. The role will not only provide support to our pupils but also their families through mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention approaches. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Social Worker, Nurse or Occupational Therapist.
The role is offered on a part-time, term-time plus INSET days basis (34 working weeks) working across 3 days per week. The safeguarding responsibilities of this role are clearly outlined in the recruitment pack, please make yourself aware of these as you consider applying for this post.
