Position : Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Reporting to : Head of Regulatory Reporting

Duration : 6 Month FTC

Location : London / Hybrid

Overview

Our client, a leading retail bank based in London, is currently seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory submissions to BoE / PRA, encompassing CoRep, FinRep, and statistical returns. Additionally, they will actively contribute to various projects focusing on business and IT changes, as well as the implementation of new regulations and process enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a team of professionals, actively engaging in regulatory reporting and change projects.
• Generate monthly and quarterly regulatory reports accurately and within designated timelines.
• Develop monthly internal Management Information (MI) for ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee).
• Evaluate, establish, and uphold controls related to regulatory reporting, including data reconciliations, cross-checks, variance analysis, and investigations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of regulatory and MI data feeds, financial information, and other inputs. Streamline processes for efficiency.
