Gresham Hunt are supporting a leading European Bank headquartered in London who are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager (Technology) to join on a 125 working day contract commencing 15th March. This is a high-impact role supporting strategic technology initiatives within a regulated banking environment. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across technology procurement categories and operate as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across Technology, Cyber, Architecture and Legal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations across key technology categories including software, SaaS, cloud services, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.
- Deliver measurable commercial value through robust sourcing strategies, competitive processes, and effective supplier negotiations.
- Manage complex technology supplier relationships, ensuring strong governance across SLAs, KPIs, performance management, and risk/issue resolution.
- Ensure all third-party engagements meet regulatory, information security and data protection standards, with a strong understanding of technology risk, cyber resilience, and data processing requirements.
- Partner closely with Technology, Cyber, Architecture and Legal teams to shape demand, define requirements, and support major transformation and change initiatives.
- Drive best practice procurement governance within a highly regulated banking environment.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in technology procurement within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Deep category expertise across software licensing models, SaaS agreements, cloud frameworks, and emerging technology trends.
- Strong track record of delivering commercial outcomes in complex technology negotiations.
- Experience managing large, strategic technology vendors with structured performance frameworks.
