Gresham Hunt are pleased to be supporting a scale up Real Estate accounting and finance consultancy in their search for a Finance Manager to join the team. This is a growth hire as this business enters an exciting new phase of their journey led by impressive, hands on founders. This business sits at an interesting juncture in the market, providing all outsourced accounting, reporting and strategic consulting to allow their real estate partners to focus on what they do best.
You will be working as part of a close-knit finance team of six people, taking ownership for all management accounts and financial reporting across the core business and also their JV platform businesses. This role will suit a qualified candidate from a mid-tier practice or someone already working within REITs/ Fund Accounting with 4/5 years post qualified experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and oversee the production of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and perform variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Analyse costs and identify areas for savings, driving strategies to improve cost efficiency.
- Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations and optimize cash balances.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring smooth accounting operations and team development.
- Act as the key finance contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust financial systems and processes.
