Cloud Engineering Lead
Up to £110,000 + Package London, United Kingdom
Gresham Hunt is currently partnered with a leading Financial Services client in the search for a transformational engineering professional in the role of Cloud Engineering Lead.
In the role you will lead multiple platform engineering teams, who are delivering advanced tech applications specifically related to communications for their clients. You will also play a key role in moving their legacy stack onto the Cloud.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous hands-on Technical Engineering and Lead Engineering experience of large-scale solutions.
- Demonstrable experience managing and mentoring a wide variety of teams including DevOps, software engineers, data and quality engineers.
- Experience of native DevOps tools with Public Cloud Solution, particularly Google Cloud.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes is essential.
- Experience overseeing the quality of delivery and engineering excellence e.g. code quality reviews, optimizing delivery efficiency, and making decisions with data-driven insight and fast feedback.
- Strong knowledge with CI/CD DevOps Tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, GIT, GitHub actions and Spinnaker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or Bash.
- Experience in automation testing and deployments including DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, source code management (Git) and change-management (JIRA).
- Ability to work in mixed delivery models of in-house engineering teams and 3rd party partners.
