The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Working in a flat structure, you will be tasked with planning and delivering your audits with minimal supervision. Senior stakeholder relationships will be yours to own and as such, you will be expected to bring exceptional organisational and communication skills. Another key aspect of the role is that you will be the Data Analytics champion within the team. Using Excel for data interrogation and Power BI for visualisations, you must be a proficient user in both tools. Please be aware that this is an absolute prerequisite. Additionally, you will also work closely with Senior Managers to determine and implement the medium to long-term DA strategy across the function.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering audit assignments using the departmental methodology. This includes completing deliverables for review by the Senior Audit Managers during audit planning, fieldwork and reporting phases.
  • Understanding and documenting processes, risks and controls in business areas to be audited.
  • Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls by performing all appropriate audit testing.
  • Creating Internal Audit working papers to re-performable standards, for review by the Senior Audit Managers and Head of Audit Portfolio.
  • Drafting clear and concise audit report findings and actions for review by the Senior Audit Managers and Head of Audit Portfolio.
  • Agreeing on management action plans, tracking progress of these, and assisting in reporting to the Audit Committee and Risk Committee.
  • Providing support to the Senior Audit Managers, Head of Audit Portfolio, and the Chief Internal Auditor to provide assurance on the overall adequacy and effectiveness of the organisation’s governance, risk management, and control.
  • Operating in accordance with the Internal Audit charter, professional audit standards, and code of ethics.
