What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute to Savings adherence to Conduct and Operational Risk Frameworks, track performance against agreed measures, make interventions and escalations to ensure standards are met and evaluate improvement opportunities through various channels linked to delivering improved Customer Outcomes.
  • Program‑manage a number of projects in parallel, prioritising them with in‑house and external stakeholders.
  • Use qualitative insights and quantitative data to uncover customer pain‑points and articulate the business case for continuous improvement; lead process improvement initiatives that deliver good customer outcomes or reduce risk.
  • Ensure audit and risk management requirements are fulfilled, coordinating the tracking and resolution of audit actions and control improvement activities.
  • Support the Service Delivery Director in delivering key strategic targets and regulatory requirements throughout the year.
  • Represent Savings, where necessary, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the point of contact for outsource providers covering operations provision to Savings.
  • Conduct horizon scanning to understand forthcoming changes across Savings and their impact on Paragon offerings and strategies.
  • Manage governance, both internally and externally, to maintain Savings cadence, formalise actions and decisions, and satisfy audit requirements.
  • Engage with senior level Support Functions, second and third lines, through effective communication.
  • Understand service delivery impact on commercial performance to support holistic pricing proposals that support good customer outcomes.

About You

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Extensive experience overseeing a high‑demand cross‑function team.
  • Solid expertise in supplier management and contract governance, with a track record of driving performance management through KPI development and reporting.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and facilitate internal and external governance forums.
  • Analytical and data‑driven approach with strong reporting and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build relationships at all levels using written and verbal skills.
  • Experience developing value‑added outcomes for both customer and business.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory issues impacting savings operations management.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbal.
  • Leadership, collaboration, influencing, decision‑making, innovation and planning skills.
  • Skill in interpreting management information and customer feedback to inform decision‑making.
  • High‑level awareness of IT infrastructure, IT security, operational resilience, and financial crime risks and their mitigants.

Working Hours

Newcastle based, with hybrid working. Core hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, 2 days in the office.
