Do you enjoy coordinating logistics activities to ensure goods flow efficiently through a fast-paced business? This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across the business, supporting customer service, production, and overall supply chain performance. The role coordinates Finished Goods Despatch to ensure customer OTIF (On Time In Full) targets are achieved in line with departmental KPIs, while also overseeing Goods In activities to ensure all incoming materials are accurately received, checked, and recorded both physically and electronically within the SAP system.
Acting as a key point of contact for transport, goods in, and 3PL-related queries, the role works closely with internal teams and external service providers to resolve issues and maintain smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include:
- Tracking and supporting finished orders in line with customer and GPUK standards
- Maintaining accurate logs and records
- Preparing reports to support performance monitoring and decision-making
- Proactively communicating delivery and order status to relevant stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities within the department
- Providing cover for the Logistics & Warehouse Lead during periods of absence
- Any other reasonable duties required
Essential Criteria:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment
- Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative under tight timescales whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Knowledge of SAP system or similar stock management system
Desirable Criteria:
- Relevant experience in Logistics coordination or Goods Inwards
- Confident in the use of IT packages to include Outlook, Word, Excel
- Knowledge of Transporeon or other Transport Management Systems
- Experience in developing reports

- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Salary: £28,000 - £29,870 per annum
