The Opportunity
We are seeking a freelance experienced Architect with strong technical skills, particularly in Heritage and Stage 4/construction. This role offers significant design responsibility and ownership, supported by our senior team members.
Key Requirements
To be considered, candidates should ideally meet most or all of the following criteria:
- Relevant qualifications in architecture or construction
- Advanced AutoCAD skills (essential)
- Proficiency in Revit (highly desirable)
- Experience working with listed/heritage buildings
- In-depth knowledge of UK statutory regulations
- Expertise in RIBA Stages 4 and beyond
- Excellent design and spatial planning abilities
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage challenging deadlines, working independently and proactively
- Effective communication and collaboration with team members, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Confident, positive communicator with clients and project stakeholders
