Manage functions within the site ensuring at all times that all resources are operated to optimum efficient levels and within budget to effectively secure GREIF UK PLASTICS Ltd operational and health and safety objectives.
To ensure GREIF UK PLASTICS Ltd Safety policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times. To ensure all Health and Safety policies and UK HSE regulations are fully adhered to and implemented at all levels, including PPE, Safe System of Work & Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
To drive a “Safety First” culture, ensuring your shift are driving safety improvements on a daily basis.
Ensure your shift are following and adhering to the product and process quality standards as set out by the QHSE manager and Greif UK Plastics group. Ensure all critical to quality (CTQ) tests and documentation are followed exactly as designed, all deviations are reported and escalated.
To ensure daily production plan is met as set out by production planner. Ensures that your shift optimise the machine performance in terms of Overall Equipment Performance (OEE) – addressing losses and supporting activities designed to improve performance.
Actively promotes the implementation and management of Autonomous Maintenance, including the daily use of Defect Tags, adherence to CIL standards and adherence to Run to target / Centreline checks that have been implemented.
- NVQ level 2/3 or ILM Qualification - Training will be provided if needed.
- Min 3 years experience within a supervisory role in an FMCG environment.
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
- Plastics experience advantageous but not necessary.
- Proven People Leadership skills including absence management, investigations and disciplinary’s.
- Cost conscious/financial awareness.
