Senior Solution Engineer - MuleSoft - UKI

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Principal Solution Consultant to join our highly skilled and collaborative Pre‑Sales team. As a Principal Solution Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to MuleSoft’s potential clients, showcasing how MuleSoft’s Integration & Hyper‑automation Platform can revolutionise IT and foster greater innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a passionate Pre‑Sales Solution Consultant team that prioritises teamwork and inclusivity.
• Build strong, nurturing relationships with the client’s IT team and C‑Level executives.
• Work closely with Account Executives across the entire sales process, evaluating sales opportunities by considering customer technical requirements, competition, decision‑making processes, and funding.
• Align the client’s technical needs with business objectives by harnessing profound technical expertise.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in enterprise software Pre‑Sales.
• Proficiency in building trust with clients and influencing key decision‑makers throughout the sales process.
• Hands‑on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, etc.
• Proficient in hands‑on development, coding, and API design.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, including iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure (preferred).
• Proven track record of creating and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and independently responding to functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
• Capability to lead architectural discussions and workshops.
• A deep passion for technology and the ability to translate that passion into tangible business benefits for customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required and maintain flexibility regarding working hours within the UK and Ireland region.

What You Will Accomplish:

In 3 Months:

• Attain MuleSoft Developer certification.
• Successfully complete MuleSoft’s SE training programs.
• Enhance your architectural problem‑solving and white‑boarding skills through shadowing and role‑playing customer scenarios.
• Engage with Account Executives and Sales leaders, shadowing customer calls and engagements.

In 12 Months:

• Assemble all the elements to 'perfect your craft' by closing deals.
• Take ownership of technical sales from start to finish for a range of opportunities.
• Achieve certification in all Product, Architecture, and Sales Messaging training courses.
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations tailored to the client’s technical specifications and audience.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as part of an account team to showcase the possibilities.
