About the Role As a Class 2 Tramper, you will: Ensure loads are transported safely and securely through effective load restraint, including the use of ratchet straps and occasional manual handling. Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued mobile device, helping to maintain the highest standards of roadworthiness, safety, and reliability. Work closely with our transport team, providing regular updates to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Enjoy the variety and independence of long-distance driving, including overnight stays when required. Participate in regular training and development programmes to enhance your skills and stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications You must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence, enabling you to operate rigid vehicles with confidence and professionalism. A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards. We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, representing our brand with professionalism and care at every stop. You'll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely.
