About the Role As a Casual Driver, you will: Operate curtain-side or flatbed trailers to safely collect and deliver customer products, ensuring all journeys are completed to a high standard. Ensure all goods are loaded, secured and protected using appropriate equipment such as straps, nets and other load-securing devices. Operate palletised handling equipment as and when required. Flexibility to cover other areas of the business. This includes work on tankers where you need to safely collect and deliver bulk liquid products to customers. Provide outstanding customer service, engaging professionally with clients both in person and over the phone to represent the company positively. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the transport team, offering real-time updates to support smooth operations and manage customer expectations. Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with operational procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 (CE) Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
