We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Operator to work out of our busy depot in Dyce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our customer and internal operations team to ensure customer requirements are met and that any issues are flagged to customers in a timely manner.
  • Fulfil customer relations and a range of associated administrative duties with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Answering all queries via email, phone and face to face.
  • Processing orders for transport and inputting data entry both manually and via external portals into our Traffic Management System.
  • Managing key accounts ensuring service levels are achieved.
  • Communicating service issues directly with the customer and agreeing corrective action.
  • Liaising on a daily basis with both internal and external customers and drivers, requiring both verbal and written communication skills.

The job can be fast paced and the work in the department can be very pressurised; however, you will be given the support and training needed to be successful in the job.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Working to deadlines.

  • MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
