Key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily planning and coordination of a local fleet, ensuring efficient and timely routing for deliveries and collections within the pallet network.
- Provide clear dispatch instructions and complete thorough driver debriefs to maintain service quality, compliance, and accurate operational records.
- Work closely with customers, partners, and network members to ensure smooth operations, proactive communication, and quick resolution of issues.
- Manage a range of operational and administrative duties, including updating systems, monitoring job statuses, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Respond to queries confidently via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Assist with on-site duties to support the depot operation, including coordinating freight, monitoring inbound/outbound movements, and supporting wider warehouse activities when required.
- Help maintain service performance standards through effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment by following company processes and supporting depot safety practices.
- Play an active role in maintaining strong network relationships, ensuring trailer fill, service KPIs, and daily operational targets are met.
Required Experience:
- Proven administrative experience with strong accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with customers, drivers, and colleagues at all levels.
- Good local geographical knowledge of the area is highly beneficial.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage daily deadlines.
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience using the Manpac traffic system is an advantage.
