Job Description Class 1 Driver Location : The Range, Wakefield Shift : Monday - Friday, Nights Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Enjoy a manageable delivery schedule with typically 1 to 3 drops per shift, keeping deliveries on schedule and customers satisfied. Complete tail lift deliveries with a strong focus on safety, efficiency and customer service. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Maintain regular communication with the transport office to provide updates on delivery progress and respond to any changes or issues in real time. Represent the company professionally at every delivery point, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with store teams. Participate in ongoing training and development, including refresher courses and updates on industry regulations, to keep your skills sharp and compliant. Essential Skills and Qualifications Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence. Possess a current Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Previous experience delivering to retail, commercial or customer sites is advantageous, although full training can be provided. Gregory Distribution Ltd? Competitive Salary : £42,837 per annum, based on 48 hours per week. (includes shift allowance of £17.50 per shift for any shifts starting between 12:00hrs and 02:00hrs*). Shift Hours : 14:00hrs - 16:00hrs, finish between 22:00hrs - 02:00hrs, Monday to Friday. Overtime : Paid at hourly rate. Enhanced rates available for working weekends.
