Job Description Class 1 Driver Location : Magor Shift : 5 out of 7- Days. Mon-Fri About Us: At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we are committed to delivering excellence in logistics and transport services. Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of compliance and operational efficiency. Safely unload refrigerated vehicles, typically handling up to three deliveries per day, ensuring goods are managed with care and efficiency. Operate palletised handling equipment, such as pump trucks, or perform trailer swaps depending on the shift schedule, maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet of Scania and Volvo vehicles, all under 6 months old ensuring reliability and comfort on the road.
Deliver goods to depots across the Southwest and Midlands, adhering to planned schedules and route requirements. Provide outstanding customer service, engaging professionally with clients both in person and over the phone to represent the company positively. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the transport team, offering real-time updates to support smooth operations and manage customer expectations. Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with operational procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated. Gregory Distribution Ltd?
