Class 1 Tramper Location : Newport Shift : Monday - Friday Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? If "YES," we want to hear from you! About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Collect and deliver specialist Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and associated accessories on behalf of our client, ensuring safe and efficient transportation. Build positive relationships with customers through face-to-face interactions and telephone communication, delivering a professional and high standard of service. Use handheld technology to accurately capture, track and manage daily operational activities. Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing timely updates on progress and helping to ensure customer expectations are met. Undertake overnight stays as required, supporting nationwide delivery and collection requirements. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company-issued mobile device to maintain high standards of vehicle performance and regulatory compliance. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the transport team, providing regular updates to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to stay current with industry regulations and best practices, continuously improving your knowledge and capabilities. Essential Skills and Qualifications Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence. Hold valid MHE/FLT licences or certifications in B1 & B2 Counterbalance, PPT Ride-On, OHE Pivot, and D1 & D2 Reach Truck categories. Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
