About the Role
- Carry out ad-hoc Tramper driving work across the UK, collecting and delivering from all our major customer sites, using but not limited to a refrigerated box trailer.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
- Use bars, straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Use your company-issued phone to carry out thorough daily vehicle safety inspections, helping us maintain the highest standards of road safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular contact with our transport team, providing updates on your progress to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Take part in regular training sessions to keep your skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to drive with confidence and skill.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you are always compliant and prepared.
- Bring your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service, making every interaction memorable.
- Excel at meeting deadlines, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
