About the Role

  • As a Class 1 Driver, you will trunk from the depot in Inverness to Cambuslang and reload back to Inverness.
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of refrigerated trailers and tail lifts is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Competitive Salary: £16.63ph PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour.

Shift Hours: 18:00hrs - 06:00hrs, 4on 4off rota.

Overtime: Available.

Training: DCPC training during your employment, Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
